“Never say never” : Matt Cardona isn’t certain he’ll return to the WWE even after the Triple H takeover

Matt Cardona was one of the most established people in WWE he was known as Zack Ryder in the ring and he had won United States Championship and Intercontinental Championship both once. Zack Ryder was one of the most charismatic wrestlers WWE can ever hope for he was one of the top babyfaces and was always getting cheered in the ring.
Matt was released from the company in 2020 when many superstars were fired due to budget cuts. Matt Maradona was working with other companies after his release and mainly has been working with Impact Wrestling, GCW and NWA. Matt has been presented as a top star there and is getting what he wants.
Matt has been always a very good talent in the ring as he is really good both in the ring and even on the mic. Matt Cardona even did a storyline with one of the greatest wrestlers John Cena. Matt was recently asked about his thoughts after Triple H became the Head of the Creative team of WWE and Vince’s retirement.
Matt stated that he would like to have a conversation with Triple H if he wants to have him back in the company but it will be almost impossible to take him back as he is making a lot of money and is happy with his position on this roaster so trading him all this just to be named in a single roster is going to be very hard.
“With Triple H calling everybody back supposedly, if he called me back, of course, I’d have a conversation. But, I don’t know if I’d go back. I don’t know. I mean, of course ‘never say never but I mean, my schedule now is pretty great, I’m making a lot of money and I’m having a lot of fun so it’s hard to trade that in for just to be a name on a roster. I Ralready did that.”

WWE failed Matt Cardona in 2011
Matt Cardona was at his peak in 2011 when he was getting crazy support from the WWE universe he was getting the loudest cheers from the fans and was getting this everywhere he get the fans even hijacked every single show and just chanted his name in every segment they always wanted to see more of Zack Ryder on the RAW or Smackdown.
Zack was such a big star at that time that even the biggest star who gets the biggest cheers The Rock had to deal with the Ryder chants by the fans unfortunately Zack was never given the right opportunity and WWE miserably failed to make him a big star as they had their chances but they did not do anything with Matt which also still makes him mad.
