Former WWE superstar Melina made a name for herself during the Ruthless Aggression Era. She debuted as a manager for the group known as MNM, which consisted of her, Joey Mercury, and Johnny Nitro (better known as John Morrison). Furthermore, The A-List Diva went on to win the Women’s Championship on five occasions. Recently, she revealed that the WWE had offered her a chance to re-sign with the company in 2020.

During an interview with Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Melina detailed why she didn’t return despite the offer. According to her, it felt like the Stamford-based promotion was dangling a carrot in front of her. Moreover, this came after Melina’s father passed away, who advised her to re-sign if she had the opportunity to.

I’m older now; I want to work; I don’t want to play games; and I wanna work to the best of my abilities and not go through the games I went through when I was a kid,” Melina said.
