Professional wrestling is dangerous, as sometimes the superstars who work hard to perfect specific moves fail to pull them off. However, fans often mock them when they compare wrestling to mixed martial arts and say wrestling is not real. Popular UFC star, Michael Chandler feels that WWE stars also deserve to get their flowers.
Chandler spoke with Ariel Helwani and expressed his opinions about professional wrestling and WWE. He stated that the way WWE stars were taking bumps and performing dangerous moves blew him away. The 37-year-old further added that they do not get enough credit for putting their bodies on the line.
Chandler was present on the latest episode of Raw and called out his rival, Conor McGregor after he missed out on UFC 300. By looking at Chandler’s promo on the Irishman, one thing was clear, fans would see more UFC-WWE crossover, especially after the merger. Recently, WWE star Dakota Kai and MMA legend, Israel Adesanya clicked a picture together and surprised everyone.
I was blown away by how these bodies fly, flip, and slam, and bodies hitting the floor... be able to see it that close, yeah I mean it's an even for a mixed martial artist, obviously I am outside of the fight mode and I'm watching as an individual and from the entertainment factor. Chandler also loved the pyrotechnics during the superstars’ entrance and decided to use one himself in his entrance. He admitted that it was a great show with a great atmosphere and would also consider attending WrestleMania 40. Dana White stated that if Conor returns to the Octagon, they will make an announcement and schedule the much-awaited fight.
Finn Balor got confused when Michael Chandler called out Conor McGregor on Monday Night Raw
UFC star, Michael Chandler made an appearance on Monday Night Raw and called out his rival, Conor McGregor after he missed out on UFC 300. The promo was intense and was well received by fans, as Chandler took a shot at the Irishman. However, another Irishman thought the 37-year-old was referring to him in the promo.
Finn Balor took to X and was relieved by the fact that it wasn’t him Chandler was referring to. The reason for confusion was the fact that Balor and Conor were both from Ireland. The 37-year-old was quick to react to Balor’s post and clarified that he wasn’t talking about him, as his eyes are set on Conor only.

Balor will defend his tag team titles with his partner, Damian Priest, at the Elimination Chamber. The newly formed tag team of Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate will try their best to end their reign. It will be interesting to see whether they retain the title with another Judgment Day interference or if fans will witness the rise of the new tag team champions.
