“I do not have a good feeling”; Mick Foley, Randy Orton, and more react to Elon Musk taking over Twitter
Superstars react to Twitter
Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter has been recently in the trending news and WWE industry along with Mick Foley is nowhere out of the picture. The world’s richest man has successfully claimed the ownership of the app by paying an enormous amount of $44 billion. The social media platform has been overflooded with the reactions over this news, and it garnered attention of both positive and negative responses as well. Elon Musk is determined to make Twitter a better social media platform by introducing a hell lot of new features and interface and also promotes ‘Free Speech’ over the app.
Randy Orton, who recently marked his 20-year long journey with the company, has reacted to it in his own way. He tweeted:
“8hrs by bus. I’m playing Elden Ring and celebrating myself. I had to take a bathroom break, so I decided to check up on Elon, and first thing I saw was your comment. I felt inclined to respond, so I did. Now I’m going to go back to slaying Demi-gods and absorbing their runes.”
Why Mick Foley is having negative thoughts for Elon Musk capturing Twitter?
The other two former superstars who gave their divided opinions over this matter are Mick Foley and Ryback. Mick Foley sees this purchase as a negative consequence, while Ryback is seeing this in an optimistic approach. Let us take a look on how these superstars have their own arguments and judgements regarding Musk’s takeover.
Mick Foley is whimsical over the free speech notion of Musk and doesn’t observe any betterment out of that. He also had thoughts in his mind to leave the platform soon when he learnt about this takeover news. He feels that there is nothing bad about the free speech movement as opined by Musk, but many issues will arise out of that when people start taking advantage of their power and start spreading hate over the platform. He tweeted:
“I’ll be giving some serious thought to leaving @Twitter for good in the near future. I do not have a good feeling about where this platform is heading.”
Opposite to that, Ryback has seen positive illumination regarding this news. For a long time, he has been banned from using the platform. He has tried to reach this issue to Elon Musk and asked him to solve his issue and restore his restricted account. He feels he is forced not to interact with his fans and urges Musk to look on to this matter. He tweeted:
“.@TwitterSupport @paraga you say my account is restricted, yet you’ve never contacted me or locked me out of my account for not being “compliant” it has been 8 years and you’ve silenced my voice because of your corrupt partnership with WWE. @elonmusk”
