Mick Foley is considered to be one of the all-time greatest superstars to ever step into the WWE ring. Foley is often known for his high-risk spots and performing different persona in his matches. His character work and hardcore wrestling style made him popular in the 90s and 2000s. Foley is one of the core wrestlers of WWE’s iconic Attitude Era. Mick throughout his career gave many memorable matches that are still ranked the best for their hardcore action and extreme moments.

Who can forget his nearly 20ft jump from the cell when he was thrown by The Undertaker right from the top of the cell straight through the announce table? Both Foley and The Phenom have shared some iconic matches and their rivalry was marked as of the best rivalries of the Attitude Era. Despite this When Undertaker missed Mick Foley’s name in his farewell speech at his Hall of Fame induction ceremony, fans started speculating if there was a heat between the two that Undertaker had not mentioned his name.

Mick’s daughter Noelle had also expressed her disappointment in the same. But all the rumors came to an end when the two legends were recently spotted at Ric Flair’s last match held at Municipal Auditorium in Nashville. Clearing the air Foley recently shared a Facebook post where he talked about the matter in detail. He began the post addressing his son and daughter and later talked about the atmosphere that surrounded the arena where Flair’s last match was being held.

Foley described – “We took in some great matches, I saw some old friends, and was part of the joyous atmosphere backstage – the likes of which I have seldom seen. Mick also said that he didn’t know Taker was also coming there and only came to know about it only 20 minutes before his arrival.” Foley then wrote- “It certainly was good to sit with and reminisce with someone I had so much shared history with. And no, there is no heat whatsoever between me and The Undertaker.

Thus, asserting the fact that there are no differences between him and The Deadman whatsoever. He then talked about the experience he had watching Flair wrestle in his last match as he described it as one of the historic nights in the wrestling world. Foley exclaimed- “Great matches come and go.”

“On the occasions I had to headline PPV shows, you walk through the curtain after the match, and there’s only a handful of your colleagues who haven’t hit the road. WrestleMania would be the major exception to that rule. But last night, there was this amazing sense of history and joy backstage. I am so glad I had a chance to be part of a great night of wrestling history.”
