On the recent episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF talked about how the odds are stacked against him. He took shots at the other three challengers, namely Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin and Jack Perry ahead of his match. Moreover, the 27-year-old spoke about not getting enough respect from the people he deserves.
MJF has a history of dissing and indirectly mocking WWE superstars who joined AEW as well as those who left after joining. This week was no different for him. On the recent episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF came out to deliver a promo about his upcoming Fatal Four-way match at AEW Double or Nothing.
However, during the segment, MJF implicitly took a shot at the former WWE superstars. He said that all four of them who would be part of the upcoming match are “homegrown.” The 27-year-old indirectly dissed those superstars who came from WWE to AEW. Over the years, many WWE superstars left the Stamford-based promotion and joined AEW for better opportunities.
This has been very frequent over the years with Vince McMahon in charge of WWE. However, MJF is one such superstar who has been with AEW since Day 1. Therefore, Friedman always boasts about it and takes shots at all the former WWE superstars. Without a doubt, MJF has been one of the greatest heels in sports entertainment over the past few years.
The 27-year-old has been the workhorse in All Elite Wrestling. He constantly competes in the ring and is one of the best on the mic. His segments often raise the eyebrows of the fans in AEW and WWE. Besides, MJF has been carrying his heel persona impressively in AEW. His recent promo raised many eyebrows. Watch the video here.

Disco Inferno compares MJF with Dominik Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio has been rising rapidly in WWE since he betrayed his father and joined “Judgment Day”. The fans have been hating him due to his heel persona on WWE television. Former WCW wrestler Disco Inferno recently compared the Modern Day Latino Heat with MJF.
While speaking on the “Keepin’ it 100” podcast, Inferno said that the WWE star has been facing more hatred from fans than MJF. He said that people won’t argue that MJF is a better performer in the ring. When it comes to getting heel reactions from fans, the ECW veteran believes the AEW star cannot surpass Dominik.
I’m sure, I am positive that MJF would love to be getting the type of heat that Dom’s getting right now,” he said. I mean, if you’re a heel, you want Dominik Mysterio heat,” he said. However, both superstars have been doing a great job as heels. Although people hate them for their personas, they both deserve equal amount of respect.
