The latest episode of AEW Dynamite was full of surprises for the fans. During the episode, the AEW World Champion MJF learned some information that was not at all favorable for him. It turned out that he had to team up with his rival, Adam Cole, for the upcoming Tag Team tournament. During the segment, the Champion hilariously yelled at Tony Schiavone.

It was previously announced that the AEW World Champion woukd take on The Ace of NJPW, Hiroshi Tanahashi. When approached about the match, MJF rejected the idea and said he would not attend the event. Friedman also wrestled Adam Cole recently in a 30-minute time-limit draw, which was a number-one contender match for the championship.

During the recent episode, when MJF and Cole were face-to-face exchanging heated words, Tony Schiavone interrupted the two. Before the segment, Schiavone and RJ City drew two names who will team up in the upcoming Blind Eliminator Tournament. The next teams will be revealed later.

When Friedman and Cole were about to come to blows, the AEW veteran revealed an exciting detail. He said that the two superstars will have to team up for the upcoming tournament. Neither of the superstars liked the announcements at all. As a result, MJF was furious at Schiavone and did not hesitate to call him out.

He shot at Tony Schiavone and called him a “sick pervert” for making him wrestle every week. It looked hilarious, as MJF has been fleeing from wrestling matches. The latest episode of Dynamite did not sit well with MJF. The 27-year-old faced off with Adam Cole in a heated exchange of words. To add insult to injury, Tony Schiavone announced the tag team match. MJF was furious during the announcement and made insulting comments toward the veteran commentator.

Soon after the announcement, Hiroshi Tanahashi interrupted the segment and challenged MJF to the match again. Friedman still refused to fight the legend, as he did not believe that Tanahashi was on his level. Adam Cole used the moment to instigate the Champion. He mocked MJF for being a coward and challenged him to a fight with The Ace.

The crowd also came alive and started calling MJF a coward. In the heat of the moment, Friedman accepted the challenge. He announced that he would fight Tanahashi at the Forbidden Door on Sunday. The announcement got a huge reaction from the crowd as MJF realized what he had just done. Adam Cole mockingly got out of the ring, seeing that his opponent had realized his troubles.
