The Money In The Bank ladder match is undoubtedly one of WWE’s greatest match types. Fans love to see multiple top stars take each other to the limit to retrieve the briefcase. And the one’s who win, keep fans and the top champions on the edge of their seats by keeping the cash-in looming over.

However, recent reports state WWE is phasing out the namesake Premium Live Event next year. The Money in the Bank ladder match, will reportedly be a special attraction at WrestleMania, just like it was during it’s initial days from 2005 to 2010. Fans are happy with this decision as they believe it will add a special element WrestleMania, that is missing for almost a decade now.

LA Knight is a charismatic wrestler who is currently making waves on SmackDown at Bray Wyatt’s expense. He is rumored to win the Money in the Bank ladder match next year, but FightFul’s WWE source quashed that claim, too. According to the unknown person, this is also not in the works.

The source claimed, “I like LA Knight, but we don’t even have definitive plans across the board for months down the line, much less next year’s Money in the Bank,”. The source even added further that they do not want the SmackDown superstar to win the briefcase desperately.

The source implied if they were desperate with LA Knight, they could have simply made Austin Theory drop his MITB contract to Knight in an one-on-one match, but they didn’t. With this, one thing is for sure, rumors are rumors, and must be taken with a pinch of salt. Because as they say, plans are always subject to change!
