He has been a free agent ever since. Recently, rising WWE star Montez Ford revealed the possibility of facing Punk in a match to determine the best Chicago-born wrestler.

In an interview with The Happy Hour, Ford talked about the potential of CM Punk’s return to WWE. He expressed his wish to face The Best In The World in a match. “I love to be the person to always welcome someone back with great arms. If he wants to make his way back this way, I guess we can have a battle and see who is the best person from Chicago,” Ford said.
