Former AEW superstar CM Punk has been a hot topic in the pro wrestling world for over a month now. After his recent incidents with Tony Khan and All Elite Wrestling, his contract was terminated. He has been a free agent ever since. Recently, rising WWE star Montez Ford revealed the possibility of facing Punk in a match to determine the best Chicago-born wrestler.
In an interview with The Happy Hour, Ford talked about the potential of CM Punk’s return to WWE. He expressed his wish to face The Best In The World in a match. “I love to be the person to always welcome someone back with great arms. If he wants to make his way back this way, I guess we can have a battle and see who is the best person from Chicago,” Ford said.
The ex-Tag Team Champion, Montez Ford, expressed eagerness to see CM Punk return to WWE, noting Punk’s buzz and the conversations he’s sparking. Ford argued Punk’s presence would benefit WWE and remained optimistic about Punk’s potential contributions.
A Street Profits member stated, “If WWE sought my view, I’m open to all talents worldwide, from any background. Everyone has something to offer. If they’re creating buzz, discussion, and getting people talking, that’s great for business.“
Rumors suggest CM Punk may return to WWE at this year’s Survivor Series in Chicago. Fans are eager to see if “The Best In The World” will make his anticipated comeback, with many hoping for a future match between CM Punk and Montez Ford.
Drew McIntyre expressed his opinions on CM Punk
CM Punk has been a controversial name in the wrestling world. Tony Khan recently fired him from AEW. In the last few weeks, a lot of big entities in the wrestling world have expressed their opinions regarding Punk. Recently, Drew McIntyre expressed his feelings about the Chicago-born wrestler.
During an interview with WrestleBinge, the interviewer asked The Scottish Warrior about battling with CM Punk if he comes back. Drew McIntyre responded as he said, “I mean, I don’t make those decisions. I watch what I say in interviews. But he’s certainly controversial, and he gets people talking. So, I’ll leave it at that.”
McIntyre was seen hesitating while talking about the former AEW Superstar. It is obvious, as CM Punk has been a controversial name, and every superstar prefers to stay away from such a sensitive topic. It will be interesting to see if The Best In The World returns to WWE this year. He is highly rumored to make WWE his newest home in pro wrestling.
