Mustafa Ali sets his eyes right on the money after making his WWE return

Mustafa Ali defeated The Miz upon his return match on Raw.
As we all saw last night on Monday Night Raw, Mustafa Ali made his WWE return. We can’t say it was a much-awaited return among the WWE fans after the controversy Ali had with WWE recently.
But beyond that let us first talk about how his return went and what he had to say following that.
Last night, The Miz hosted a special MIZ-Tv segment with the newly crowned United States Champion Theory as his guest.
Mustafa Ali interrupted them midway and straightaway made his intentions clear by challenging Theory to a US Title match. Playing on his heel tactics Theory declined the challenge but Ali next faced The Miz in his return match. After that he went on to win his return match following a pinning combination.
After winning the match while he was going back to the gorilla position, he was attacked by Ciampa on the entrance stage who recently made his WWE Raw debut.
So we can say that Mustafa Ali’s return night on Raw was like a rollercoaster ride.
Well, after Raw went off-air Mustafa Ali was interviewed on Raw Talk and he said he’s there to do one thing and that’s to win the US Championship from Theory. Here’s what he exactly said :-
“Mustafa Ali is back on Monday Night RAW! It feels so good to say that,”- said Mustafa. “I had a game plan [to] come out and challenge Theory for the United States Championship, but somehow somewhere ended up in a match with The Miz. But I still got the win. The plan is the same: beat The Miz and now I have one man and one man only that’s on my radar. His name is Theory and he has the United States Championship” (From 0:16 to 0:43)

He also gave his thoughts after getting being attacked by Ciampa –
“Attacked. Brutalized. Blindsided. I know exactly who Ciampa is, but why he did what he did? I don’t know. And honestly, right now, I don’t care. One man and one man only. Theory and the United States Championship,” said Ali.
Mustafa Ali recently requested his WWE release –
Back in January 2022, Ali tweeted out publicly that he has asked for his WWE release.
This incident didn’t came out all of a sudden. In late December Ali was seen disappear from the WWE programming for weeks which made fans wonder what’s exactly going on with him and the WWE creative. Shortly after that, it was revealed that Ali was intentionally not being used on TV cause the creative team had absolutely no plans for him. There was nothing for him to do.
Growing upon this Ali became frustrated and demanded his WWE release which was rejected. According to a report from Fightful Select, those close to WWE have told them that the term ‘Value’ was given in regards to keeping Ali with the company and not letting him go. Well it now seems like the situation has gotten a lot better between the two parties and hopefully we’ll see more of Ali in coming weeks on WWE television.
