The passing of Bray Wyatt has sent shockwaves around the wrestling community. Wrestlers and fans around the world still can’t believe he left the world at the young age of 36. Moreover, his co-workers continue to send heartwarming stories surrounding his career online. Recently, Mustafa Ali shared his experience working with the third-generation superstar.
First, former WWE superstar Ariya Daivari revealed Wyatt’s hospitality after joining the main roster. This was during the Cruiserweight 205 Live era a few years ago. Furthermore, he claimed that the Eater of Worlds would always ask about his brother’s well-being as well. “A caring man gone too soon,” Daivari finally wrote.
Mustafa Ali replied to the tweet, sharing another instance of his own. He mentioned the time when the 205 Live events were struggling in terms of ticket sales. Thus, the company added Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy to a live event as a special feature. Ali vividly remembered apologizing to Wyatt for “dragging them into the tour with them.”
However, the former World Champion thought otherwise. “Nah hoot, the only way this business works is when we help each other,” replied Bray. Obviously, fans were amazed by the selflessness and mentality of Windham Rotunda. Many believe that the gestures shown by him were one of the reasons why he was so loved and respected backstage.
Matt Hardy reveals how it was like teaming with Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt’s unfortunate demise has put the wrestling world to a momentary halt. Many of his co-workers and friends have penned down emotional notes and throwbacks to their time together. His former tag team partner, Matt Hardy, detailed his stint working with the legend.
The pair were engaged in a feud for a while in 2018 before joining forces at that year’s WrestleMania. Furthermore, they would go on to win the RAW Tag Team Championship as they presented themselves as the “Deleters of Worlds.” Matt replied to a video of their entrance at the 2018 Extreme Rules pay-per-view on his X account.
“I loved this entrance so damn much. It was great fun to do & the “fireflies” in the crowd always created an amazing aura in the arena,” revealed the AEW superstar. As a result, they were popular among fans due to their dynamics. The run really showed why Bray Wyatt was adaptable to any character change during his time in the company.
