Return of MVP and the formation of The Hurt Business

The return of MVP to the WWE in 2020 was a surprise to many fans. The former WWE United States Champion had left the company in 2010, and many believed that he would never return. It quickly became clear that he was back in the WWE for more than just a one-off appearance. In the weeks that followed, MVP appeared on several episodes of Monday Night Raw.
The Hurt Business was formed in the summer of 2020 when MVP approached Bobby Lashley and offered to be his manager. Lashley had been struggling to find his place in the WWE, and MVP’s offer gave him a new sense of purpose. MVP then recruited Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander, and the group quickly established itself as one of the top factions in the WWE.
They defeated a number of top teams, including the New Day and the Street Profits. They were a dominant faction on the roster and also won multiple championships. Unfortunately, the faction disbanded in early 2021, and the reason is still not explained.
