Natalya has admitted Ronda Rousey to be an intense performer

When to comes to professional wrestling, Natalya and Ronda Rousey are no strangers to each other as they hold some stored history amongst themselves having had faced each other previously. During her 1st run with WWE, Rousey quickly climbed the stairs of success as she won the Raw Women’s Championship defeating Alexa Bliss at Summerslam 2018 for the very first time in her WWE career.

Natalya faced her then-called friend “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey in a Raw Women’s Title match during the December 24, 2018 edition of Monday Night Raw. The whole story of the match revolved around the fact that Rousey felt a bit hesitant putting her friend Natalya into the clutches of the Rousey Armbar throughout the whole matchup.

Eventually, Ronda locked her up into the deadly armbar causing Natalya to tap-out immediately which resulted in Ronda Rousey successfully defending her Raw Women’s Championship. Both women hugged each other and shared an emotional moment after the match.

Natalya is a veteran in women’s wrestling with her Neidhart family being a cornerstone entity of this entire business. Her uncle Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart is considered to be one of the greatest of all-time as well as her father Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart was a 2-time WWF tag team champion alongside Bret Hart as a team known as “The Hart Foundation”.

Natalya is the number 1 contender to the Smackdown Women’s Championship currently held by Ronda Rousey and she will challenge her title for the title at the upcoming Money in the Bank premium-live-event scheduled to take place on July 2nd from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Making sure her preparations remain up-to-date, Natalya recently visited Dr. Beau Hightower where she was asked about how it feels like to be in the ring with the baddest women on the planet. “It’s really intense. Ronda is not a joke. In every sense of the word, she’s as real as it gets and it hurts, that’s why I’m with you right now. I’m really putting my body through it. It hurts, actually, to put the sharpshooter on her because she’s like a wild wombat,” she said with a laugh. “They are vicious, wild, moody animals” , Natalya said.

She also added that Ronda is one of her favourite opponents due to the incredible chemistry they experience between themselves. Natalya has been in this business since the 2000s which is a long long time to be honest especially for a women wrestler to go such a long distance in her career is a really incredible thing.

In WWE she once held the Women’s Tag Team Championship with Tamina as well as the Divas and Smackdown Women’s Championship 1 time each. It remains to be seen whether Natalya can pull off an upset by defeating Ronda Rousey for the Smackdown Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank or not. With the win she can become a 2-time Smackdown Women’s Champion.
