The current SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair has been on a completely different level since her long time rival, former Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey returned at Royal Rumble 2022. Not only has the Queen been a bit aggressive but has also been a bit insecure which increased a lot of her controversial victory at the 38th edition of the Grandest Stage of them All, WrestleMania 38.

Former Women’s Champion Natlalya had come out a few months ago to claim that the Queen was in a tough spot in her career as she had achieved a lot in her career at a very early stage. The self proclaimed Best of all time said that Flair had nothing left to achieve which could turn out to be very harsh on her career though has given fame to her as well. Here’s what she said when she sat with Tuesday’s Wrestling Tuesday with Jonathan Hood podcast a few months ago:

“Charlotte Flair, I think it’s a tough spot because there’s only so much that she can do. There’s only so many places you can go. Once you’ve done it all, once you’ve main evented WrestleMania, you’ve won X amount of championships. When you have had everything and you’ve experienced everything, it is really, really cool to watch other women rise to the occasion and get the chance.”

After her controversial loss at WrestleMania 38, Ronda Rousey chose not to stay back and once again challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Champion. The Baddest Women on the Planet this time decided not to give Flair any excuses and claimed that she wanted to face the Queen in an ‘I quit match’. This was eventually confirmed by WWE but the Smackdown Women’s Champion didn’t welcome the decision with joy.

Instead, Flair came out to be much more ruthless and this week on Friday Night SmackDown, have a potential spoiler for WrestleMania Backlash by making Drew Gulak say ‘I quit’. Gulak tried his hand as an interviewer this week on SmackDown and got an honourable to opportunity to have a chat with Flair. But Gulak didn’t know that his career change got a very harsh start.
