Natalya talks about her instrumental role in the making of Io Shirai

WWE Veteran and a sure to be Hall of Famer, Natalya has etched many records to her name in WWE. She is a multiple times Women’s champion who despite being 39 year of age performs better than many younger superstars in the WWE. The Queen of Harts made her debut in 2007 and is considered to be one of towering figures in the WWE locker room who is revered for her both wrestling and communication skills, inside and outside of the ring.

This is what Natalya had to say about Xia Li: “I know on TV I play the role of the bad guy, but I could see that Xia is brand new. She’s just learning the English language,” she remarked. “She’s trying her hardest. She’s been training and she’s been working hard for this chance to make her debut for WWE. How can I help her to showcase herself in the best possible way in two minutes on SmackDown? I know we don’t have a lot of time, but two minutes is still two minutes. Let’s make it amazing. Let’s make sure that Xia shines, let’s make sure she stands out. Not everybody knows how to do that or wants to do that.”

What is Natalya doing currently?

Natalya in a recent episode of NXT made a surprise appearance which shocked the WWE Universe to its core. Like other WWE superstars Dolph Ziggler and Finn Balor, Natalya has followed suit and made a similar appearance.

The SmackDown superstar arrived to seemingly show her support to the young superstar Cora Jade, however the self proclaimed best of all time soon locked her in the Sharpshooter. It could be expected to see these superstars competing again in a batter of two generations.

It’s scheduled for Natalya and NXT superstar Tatum Paxley to face off against each other but it remains to be seen what role Cora Jade would have to play in this match.
