WWE receives a fresh trial date regarding copyright issues of Randy Orton’s tattoos

Randy Orton has been competing as a tag team since he ended his feud with “The Fiend” at WrestleMania 37. Randy Orton agreed to form a team with Riddle after he was defeated by Riddle on the previous week on the April 9th Edition of RAW. Randy then took a seven month hiatus thereafter and returned on August 9th edition of RAW, where he declared that RK-Bro has been dissolved. The Following night, Riddle attempted to hug Randy after the latter’s bout against AJ Styles, but Randy Orton instead gave him an RKO as a sign of his appreciation.
Riddle defended “The Viper” Randy Orton from AJ Styles and Omos’ onslaught on the RAW episode dated August 16. As a result, Randy once more established the RK Bro after realizing that Riddle is his genuine buddy. RK-Bro won the RAW Tag Team Championship, their first one at SummerSlam 2021 by defeating AJ Styles and Omos, they defended it on several occasions but ultimately lost it to Alpha Academy. They regained the Championship on RAW. The Usos then challenged RK-Bro for a unification match at WrestleMania Backlash but the match was turned into a six man tag match instead and the unification match being scheduled on the May 20th edition of SmackDown, which the RK-Bro lost.

Randy Orton has displayed tattoo designs on his back and arms ever since making his WWE debut. Orton’s fully covered arms and a few additional tattoos elsewhere have made his personality attractive. Some of his tattoos have special importance for each individual, a handful have intriguing backstories, one of which involves an unexpected dispute. WWE has often been known to have had copyright regulations problems. When they were sued by Randy Orton’s tattoo artist Catherine Alexander in 2018.
The problem arose when WWE 2K18 employed Randy’s image and, as per usual, tried to make it appear as similar to him. To do this, they created a far better copy of his tattoos than in earlier games.
Catherine then launched a lawsuit against WWE and Take-Two Games, saying that the artwork was her own and was utilized without her permission. Alexander also revealed that she wasn’t paid. The lawsuit is scheduled for trial in January but was postponed due to Omicron Covid-19 Pandemic. PWI Insider reports that the lawsuit has a new date and will now begin on September 26th, 2022, in US District Court Southern District of Illinois.
