WATCH: Nia Jax posts an unrecognizable picture of her from her teenage days
Nia Jax in WWE
Nia Jax is one of the strongest female competitors of all time. Nia Jax can lift her opponents very easily and was stronger than some of the men in the roster. Nia Jax made her WWE debut on NXT Brand in 2015 and established herself as a heel. She challenged the then NXT Women’s Champion Bayley and had a bout against her at NXT TakeOver: London, which she lost. Until 2016 she competed for the championship numerous times but was unsuccessful in winning it.
Nia Jax was transferred to RAW Brand in 2016 and soon began her winning streak against various opponents. Nia competed for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 34 but lost the bout, this was Jax first attempt for the championship. She participated in the first Women’s Royal Rumble in 2018 and was a major threat to the women involved in a match. Jax managed to eliminate Kelly Kelly, Ruby Riott, Jacqueline and Naomi at the event but was ultimately eliminated by six women at the event. Jax won the RAW Women’s Championship when she defeated Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 34. She lost the title to Bliss when the latter cashed in her MITB contract at the 2018 MITB event.
Nia Jax had shed some light on her future in wrestling
Before her release from the company in Nia Jax had formed an alliance with Shayna Baszler and the two would go on to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship twice. The alliance ended in September 2021 after they lost the titles to Natalya and Tamina. Baszler would attack Jax on one of the editions of RAW, and destroy Jax’s arm. Thereafter, Nia Jax asked WWE for some time off as she wanted to care for her mental health but WWE released her in November 2021. Nia later had revealed that she needed an extension regarding her mental health break but later found out that she had been released by the company.
Jax had timely posted on the social media regarding her activities since her release and has said that she isn’t interested in stepping into the squared circle again, while she may consider herself to be a part of short storyline, but not a full-time wrestler again.
Nia Jax recently shared a picture of herself, when she was teenager. Jax can be seen holding a football in a hand in the throwback picture. She wrote Carlsbad wave below the picture, most probably referring to her team’s name.
Nia Jax is keen on starting a business related to farming as indicated by one of her posts from Instagram.
