WATCH: Nikki Cross costs Alexa Bliss and Asuka their Women’s Tag-Team Championships, launches a sneak attack
Nikki Cross attacked Alexa Bliss midway during her match, resulting Asuka and Bliss to lose their Tag-Team Championships
Just days after winning the Women’s Tag-Team Championship on Monday Night Raw this week, Alexa Bliss and Asuka defended their gold. Tonight, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, these women had a job in their hands and that’s to successfully retain their titles over Dakota Kai and IYO SKY.
The in-ring attires of all the women involved were top-notch and reflected elite dressing sense too. Without wasting more time, let’s get into the match. So, the festivities kicked off with everyone going after each other. The Saudi crowd was insanely into whatever Alexa Bliss was doing. Moreover, Bliss indeed delivered a standout performance during the course of this match.
She brought her A-game into the mix and was trying her extreme not to let those straps go away from them. The Tower of Doom spot with Asuka pulling the remaining three competitors down the ropes was special. It was at this juncture, the first “Holy Sh*t” chant was heard across the Mrsool Stadium.
During the ending moments, when Alexa Bliss was about to deliver the Twisted Bliss over Dakota Kai, a crazy psychopath appeared and caught Bliss on the ropes. She was none other than Alexa’s former partner, Nikki Cross. The latter executed her finishing maneuver and cunningly rolled out of the ring, without even getting into referee’s eyes, who was caught in separating Asuka and Sky.
Dakota Kai then simply hooked the leg and earned a pinfall victory over Alexa Bliss on behalf of her team. With this victory, Damage CTRL’s Dakota and IYO regained their titles, the ones which they lost days ago. You can watch the complete chaos induced during the match .

What’s next for Dakota Kai and IYO SKY now?
The Damage CTRL’s very own Dakota Kai and IYO SKY will now bask into a new era starting off coming Monday night on Raw. They will be surely looking for a new set of opponents for them, presuming that they’re done with Bliss and Asuka.
Rumors were swirling in the city about a potential return of Sasha Banks and Naomi. So if they do end up showing their faces this week, the obvious scenario for them would be a straight forward challenge towards the newly crowned Women’s Tag-Team Champions.
