Saraya-Jade Bevis famously known as Paige is the youngest WWE Divas Champion in the history of the WWE. Being from a wrestling family Paige made her debut in 2005 at a tender age of 13 when she replaced a wrestler who had failed to show up at a show. However Paige’s first recorded match wasn’t until 2006 where she teamed up with her mother. Paige spent the next 5 years on the independent circuit winning titles all over the United Kingdom some of these title include Herts and Essex (HEW) Women’s Championship, WAWW British Championship Real Deal Wrestling (RDW) Women’s Championship and many more.

In 2011 after hr last match in Shimmer Women Athletes Paige was called for WWE trails by a scout. She signed with WWE under a developmental contract which saw her move to Florida Championship Wrestling. Later FCW was rebranded as NXT and Paige made her NXT debut in a loss to Sofia Cortez. In 2013 she entered a tournament to crown the NXT Women’s Champion and in the tournament went on to defeat Emma in the finals to become the inaugural WWE NXT Women’s Champion. She would vacate the title having won the WWE Divas Championship which ended her 301 days reign as champion.

Paige recently announced that she might return to in ring action soon

Inaugural NXT Women's Champion Paige

Paige defeated AJ Lee when she made her main roster debut to win the WWE Divas Championship which made her the youngest Divas Champion in the history of WWE. At the end of her feud with AJ Lee she became a two time Divas Champion. The Former Divas Champion was a key member and part of the PCB team who were at helm of Women’s revolution in WWE. The former champion suffered a neck injury twice which forced Paige to retire from wrestling. The inaugural NXT Women’s Champion is set to run out her contract with the WWE and recently tweeted asking her fans where would they like to see her next :

Where do you guys wanna see me next??

Mickie James who is a former WWE Women’s Champion had an absolute cheeky response to Paige’s tweet :

With the contract expiring on 7th of July and with no no compete clause in her contract we might get to see the Former Divas Champion wrestle very soon.
