Paige has been a very popular face in WWE before retiring in 2018. Paige has been out of major action since 2016 because of her neck injury. She was out of all the major events of the year owing to the injury. She returned to the ring in 2017 only to receive a kick by Sasha Banks making her neck even worse. 

Later in the year she took her official retirement at the young age of 25. Paige has been active on Twitter for a long time. Paige might not be seen in the ring but she was very much present in the WWE handling the management or forming new teams. In 2022, she took to Twitter to announce her quit from WWE.

Why did Paige took to Twitter for her demand?

Vince McMahon after being surrounded by a hush money scandal had earlier stepped down from the CEO. Recently, he declared himself to be retired. This news has shocked a lot of fans all over the world. The WWE superstars are also not able to digest this fact. For this reason, we saw Brock Lesnar in a not-so-good state of mind and he left the building in a very furious manner. 

Earlier Sasha Banks and Naomi had done the same thing and for this reason, suspended indefinitely. “Is this is true, Michael Cole better bring that up on commentary saying he let the WWE Universe down“, wrote Paige on her official Twitter handle. 

The company did not take any action for Brock as they did for Sasha and Naomi. The reason that the company gave was that Lesnar had made a surprise entry to the show towards its end. 

Being one of the greatest divas in history, Paige understands the way the show works. Brock has his Last Man Standing Match lined up at SummerSlam with Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
