Paige was forced to retire from in-ring competition due to injury issues.

With the advancement in technology and social media, one can explore a whole new level of excitement from that. In the recent years, many wrestlers have started using platforms like Twitter, Facebook , Instagram and Twitch to stay connected with their followers and fans.

Former Divas Champion Paige is also one of them and she’s regularly seen doing some live streams over her official Twitch account. Around an year ago on May 14, she posted an image of her on Twitter using the “pillow-face” filter due to which her face was looking a little bulged out and goofy in the picture.

Responding to this photo, fans were quick to react and they believed it to be a real image cause many of them imagined that Paige has got herself done with a Plastic Surgery due to which she’s looking like that. Paige was shocked to see this kind of response from the people due to which she pounced upon them with a befitting reply. She said,

So many of you believed the filter pic below was real,” she wrote. “You were all SO SO cruel I can’t believe how you treat people you don’t know… but also thanks for the content because I read all your dumb ass tweets out on my stream.”

Well, after all of the dust settled down it reflected like Paige was seemingly trolling her fans by posting such kind of image on social media. She’s previously also has been a victim of the criticism in the past due to her weird looks.

Paige has not been present in the WWE programming from a long time

Paige was appointed as Smackdown General Manager in 2019.

Paige has remained absent from the WWE programming since WWE Backstage got scrapped off amidst of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Ever since getting forced to retire from in-ring competition due to her injury issues, Paige is making guest appearances with WWE.

In 2019, she was appointed as the General Manager for Smackdown live by Shane McMahon where she would go on to appear on television regularly due to this role.

Paige also has recently expressed her desire to make a return to the ring taking inspiration from the recent examples of Edge and Daniel Bryan (now as Bryan Danielson).
