Randy Orton wasn't a big fan of The Paige Turner
Randy Orton is a veteran and an well-established name in the world of professional wrestling. He started his career as part of OVW where he wrestled alongside Brock Lesnar and today both of them are considered as all-time greats. Orton has won the World Championship 14 times and he’s also a Grand Slam Champion which he became after defeating Bobby Roode for the United States Championship at Fastlane 2018, the only title that eluded The Viper throughout his career.
He has headlined multiple events including the two Wrestlemania shows in 2009 against Triple H and 2014 against Daniel Bryan and Batista. Randy Orton greatly considers The Nature Boy Ric Flair as one of his mentors and considering all the deeds he’s done over his legendary career is just a symbolism that he learnt good part of those chapters from the Dirtiest Player in the Game.
At the moment, Randy Orton is out of in-ring action due to his injured back which he possibly sustained during the Tag Team Championship Unification match with Riddle against The Usos on WWE Smackdown in May. He’s not expected to return anytime soon and is rumoured to miss the leftover part of 2022.

Paige reveals she stopped using her finisher after the advice of Randy Orton
Former WWE superstar Paige quickly climbed to the ladders of success in WWE as she became the Divas Champion on her very first night on the main roster from AJ Lee using her patent finisher – The Paige Turner which looked like a simple leg sweep at times which was somehow tarnishing the definition of an Ending maneuver.
She recently revealed during an interview with Starcast V that Randy was perplexed about how she finishes up her fights with that Paige Turner. The WWE Anti-Diva said that when she returned back after winning the Divas Championship from AJ Lee, The Viper had some words for her.
“AJ (Lee) as like ‘Okay, the only thing I don’t want is a submission. Just beat me clean, I don’t want to tap out.’ I’m like, ‘Sounds good.’ I hate the Paige Turner, by the way. The reason why I stopped doing it is because after that match, I came back and Randy [Orton] was like, ‘You beat her with a leg sweep?’ I’m like, ‘I can’t help it,’ that kind of move, you need two people and timing. But whatever, I had two other finishers I could pull out.”
