“I am READY to come back home” Paige reflects on returning to wrestling under new management in WWE

The pandemic years i.e. 2020-21 saw huge changes in WWE Roster. It was a difficult time for the company and in the name of budget cuts, it had led to many superstars being let go. These include the likes of many NXT superstars and main roster superstars such as Paige, Bray Wyatt, Rusve, Aleister Black, Neville, and many more. But when things started improving many superstars had either joined either company and some moved to other ventures as well.
But none of them expressed the desire to return because of the issues they had with the management. But now when Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis have made their exits from the company, the new management is constantly trying to amend the relationship with their released superstars. Vince McMahon announced his retirement on 22nd July via a tweet, thus departing from all responsibilities assigned to him in the company. John Laurinaitis was also recently fired by the company.

Paige says she would like to come back and fight Sasha Banks
After McMahon’s exit Triple H was named The Creative Head and Stephanie McMahon took over as the Chairwoman of the company. Now with the change in management, many released superstars are now willing to come back to the company. Speaking on the subject former WWE Women’s Champion Paige recently reflected on her views and said that she would love to get back in the ring with Triple H controlling things backstage.
In an interview at “The Sessions with Renee Paquette” Paige expressed- “I really do feel fantastic, If I was to have to be in the ring, it would be for a really big moment, to wrestle … I would love to face Sasha [Banks] again … I feel like [Triple H] is going to get her. I feel like now that Hunter took over, everyone’s going to be like, ‘I’m ready to come home.” Notably, Paige had taken retirement after a neck injury that she sustained after a kick from Sasha Banks at the back of her head at a live event.
But now she seems ready to take on her as she mentioned her desire to face Sasha Banks. She also joked that she would come back for a retirement match just like Ric Flair who keeps coming back for retirement matches. Sasha Banks who is on hiatus with the company is rumored to make a return to the company with her partner Naomi soon. Banks and Naomi had walked out of RAW citing their differences with the creative direction. But after the change in management, it is being reported that the two can soon make their return.
