Paige, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon
Paige has not ruled out the possibility of wrestling again and recently when she appeared on the live video streaming service, she had made that clear. Paige had said that she isn’t done yet and when she will return to the ring it would be her comeback story. She previously stated that watching wrestlers recover from grave injuries gives her motivation to return to the ring. The more she thinks about this, the more motivated she feels. It’s not like She will return tomorrow, she remarked, adding that she would start to enter the ring gradually. Her resurrection will take time.
Paige departed from the WWE in July of this year and had revealed that she didn’t request for her release but the company itself released her. She has always been a top carder in the company and has been a two-time Divas champion. She was the winner of the inaugural NXT Championship and has had a great in-ring career. The Former Divas Champion was forced to retire due to a Neck injury that she suffered at a Live event in 2017.
Paige revealed her current plans following departure from WWE
Paige recently made an appearance on Sessions with Renee Paquette, where she discussed her future intentions. Paige stated that she is working on a book and is really enthusiastic about it. The former Divas Champion claimed that many people haven’t experienced what she has and that she hasn’t yet notified anybody about the book. She claimed that when she tries telling certain people details about her life, they start to worry about her. Paige joked that her midlife crisis is fast approaching and expressed her gratitude for having experienced all of her problems so young in life.
The Former Divas Champion has previously experienced a neck injury, which occurred in 2016. She was out of action since August 2016 and during her recovery she had developed an addiction to prescription drugs and according to WWE had also developed an addiction to illegal substances. Paige went under the knife for neck surgery in October 2016 and return to WWE in November 2017. Paige also talked about her return in 2017 to Renee Paquette.
Paige claimed that when she got back, she approached Triple H, who gave her a bear hug and stated he believed she was going to die. She claimed that Stephanie and Vince also gave her a firm embrace and echoed Triple H’s comments.
“I walked up to Hunter [Triple H] and he just gave me this huge hug,” Paige said. “He was like, ‘I thought you were gonna die.’ I walk up to Stephanie. Stephanie gives me a big hug, says the same thing. Then I get to Vince and he looked at me for a second, and he’s like, ‘Come here,’ and he gives me a big hug, and he was just like, ‘I thought you were gonna die.’ They all had the same thing to say.”
We hope that everything is well in Paige’s life now and hope to see her return to action soon.
