Seth Rollins is currently enjoying his reign as the World Heavyweight Champion. The Visionary defended his title at NXT Gold Rush. He was also scheduled to be a guest on The Pat McAfee Show. As McAfee was set to introduce him, Paul Heyman showed up instead, replacing Seth ahead of his travel issues in Florida.
This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE announced the appearance of Seth Rollins on The Pat McAfee Show. Rollins was set to discuss things with McAfee in the afternoon. But as the show was premiering, Pat readily introduced his guest, and The Wise Man showed up, starting his live conversation. He started off by denying the fact that he is Rollins and speaking his catchphrase, “My name is Paul Heyman!”
The sudden appearance of Paul Heyman was surprising for Pat as well as for the viewers. Paying respect to the special counsel with various appellations, McAfee asked Paul about Seth’s situation. The 36-year-old asked if he had killed him or beat him up for the spot. Pat’s question was a bit harsh for the 57-year-old legend, but Paul came up with a witty reply. Heyman’s reply started with addressing McAfee’s shortcomings in the announcement of his titles and stated the reason for Seth’s absence.
The Microphone Maestro stated how Seth underwent a vicious attack from Finn Balor last night amid their heated feud. Heyman also stated that despite receiving the beatings, Rollins’ title defense is lined up for NXT Gold Rush that night. This made up a busy schedule for Seth, and therefore, he was unable to get on McAfee’s show. This being the reason for Seth’s absence, another hilarious reason stated by Paul was Seth’s mobile phone’s manipulation by him.

The real reason behind Seth Rollins’ absence on The Pat McAfee Show
The Pat McAfee Show was set to have Seth Rollins as a guest. It was advertised primarily by WWE on the episode of RAW along with the show’s YouTube channel. Although there had been much build-up, Rollins was seen missing out on the spot and was replaced by Paul Heyman, who joined in the conversation with McAfee.
Pat McAfee shared the segment where he was introducing Rollins on his Twitter account. He asked Seth the question about the real reason for his absence from the show. Pat even stated Paul’s iconic catchphrase, which he himself had stated on the show. The Visionary took to Twitter and responded to Pat’s question.
Rollins started by stating his concern for the viewers, who had to see Heyman come in instead of Rollins. He then stated the travel issues he faced on his flight while Florida was having a perpetual monsoon. Seth said that he owes that appearance on the show and will possibly make it happen soon. He concluded by saying that he has reached Orlando to defend his title against Bron Breakker at NXT Gold Rush.
