The Miz is getting widespread acclaim for his segment on this week’s Raw. Even if the fans weren’t able to see John Cena, the A-Lister just casually did an entire edition of Miz TV with him. In all seriousness, that stuff could’ve easily backfired. However, Miz’s unmatched skills and the WWE production team’s commitment made the entire thing work.

Apart from the fans, The Miz has now caught the attention of Pat McAfee, who seems to love what the A-Lister did on Raw. The former Indianapolis Colts punter became the voice of the people and relayed a message to the Awesome One on his podcast. McAfee had nothing but words of appreciation, saying that The Miz deserves an award for that performance. “I appreciate the hell out of you, you’re the man! That was… you should win an award for last night,” he said.

Well, the man who was on the receiving end also reacted through his Instagram post. The 16-time World Champion simply posted an image of that segment from RAW where The Miz was hitting the Skull Crushing Finale. Cena has an immense amount of respect for The Miz. He has already called the A-Lister the most underrated WWE Superstar of all time.

The Miz has only won one match so far in 2023. That came when he defeated Tommaso Ciampa on RAW several weeks ago with the aid of Bronson Reed. The A-Lister wrestled Pat McAfee in an impromptu match at WrestleMania 39. The Boomstick got the job done in nearly four minutes as he handed an ignominy to the former World Champion.

The Miz not done with LA Knight

It appears like there’s one more match coming in LA Knight’s way with The Miz. During his Miz TV segment with an invisible John Cena on Raw, the A-Lister highlighted Cena’s favoritism for Knight. The 42-year-old said that if it were not for John Cena, he would’ve beat The Megastar.

That being said, Miz issued a challenge to LA Knight in yet another match. Of course, the latter wasn’t there in person to answer the call. However, fans would get a better idea of what to expect between the two trash-talking machines on SmackDown. While The Miz is easily beyond his peak in WWE, Knight has just started the climb.

Per WrestleVotes, WWE updated its ‘talent board’ following Payback. That includes LA Knight as the top babyface on the blue brand. If this tells anything, the former Eli Drake has finally worked his way to his current position. It remains to be seen how long WWE can contain Knight’s quest for a championship.
