Pat McAfee pays tribute to Len Dawson

Pat McAfee has been one of the positive highlights about WWE programming over the past few months especially due to his commentary skills and the charisma he broughts with himself on the table. He recently competed at Summerslam against Baron Corbin in which after another stupendous performance, McAfee picked up the victory.

Before joining WWE, Pat had been a main staple for the National Football League (NFL) where he played 8 seasons of the same. Pat McAfee is a former Punter and Kickoff specialist who played for the Indianapolis Cults. As we all mourn the sad demise of legendary Hall of Fame Quarterback Len Dawson who left this world today itself, McAfee alongside her former teammate and Linebacker AJ Hawk payed tribute to NFL Legend on The Pat McAfee Show.

McAfee shared a clip of their show on Twitter where they mentioned the passing of Dawson wishing the soul to rest in peace after all the heavy accomplishments he achieved throughout his inspirational career. Pat McAfee couldn’t held himself back and he lined up all the major feats Len Dawson named after himself. The QB played for Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns and Dallas Texans/Kansas City Chiefs over the different phases of his journey.

We all have become well-aware about the kind of in-ring abilities that Pat McAfee possess just by wrestling two matches this year. He defeated Theory at Wrestlemania wherein he executed some breathtaking maneuvers during the match to grab the attention of everyone who bought a ticket for the AT&T Stadium and from everyone watching around the world. His next match was Summerslam which he won last month against Corbin and ever since then he’s back at the commentary table for the Blue brand alongside Michael Cole.

Well, it appears like WWE sees a special attraction in Pat McAfee and they want to use him only for their bigger events like Mania, Summerslam etc. It would be really interesting to see who Pat fights next and more importantly when he gets to have his next match in the company.
