Pat McAfee and Happy Corbin’s feud has heated up quite a bit over the past few weeks. It all started when Corbin took offense of all the insults made by his former friend McAfee at Smackdown but Pat wasn’t taking any of this as he continued to humiliate Corbin. The two would exchange war of words before McAfee would challenge Corbin to a match at Summerslam, to which Corbin answered by attacking the Smackdown commentator when Money in The Bank went off air, thus accepting the challenge.
The two squared off against each other here at a jam-packed Nissan Stadium on Saturday. Before the match would even start McAfee started humiliating Corbin with a choir singing “Bum-As* Corbin” on his entrance, before Pat would make his entrance in style with the whole crowd behind him. McAfee would begin the match on a high note by stunning Corbin with an early superkick and a hurricanrana. Corbin would then exchange kicks and punches to shift the momentum towards him.

The match would then move towards the ringside where Corbin would engage in a scuffle with Michael Cole before being hit by a spectacular suplex in the ring by McAfee as he got the crowd rolling behind him. The referee would then be knocked out by Corbin, taking the advantage of the situation McAfee would hit Corbin with a “low blow” to give Corbin his biggest upset of his career.
The WWE Universe was quick to react to the match as many praised McAfee for his performance and shared hilarious memes related to the match. Some were also quick to point some botches in the match like the one in which Corbin is seen saving McAfee from having a rough landing at the ringside. Here are some notable reactions from twitter-
