WWE completed its merger with the UFC after Endeavor’s acquisition in April. Both companies will work under the TKO Group Holdings banner from now on. With the deal finalized, there was uncertainty in the promotion regarding what lay ahead in the future. However, WWE President Nick Khan sent out a memo to address the situation.
As per Fightful Select, Khan assured that the staff were aware of any new procedures and policies in light of the Endeavor takeover. First, he thanked everyone for their hard work and commitment to helping the historic deal close. Furthermore, the President revealed that HR would be available for anyone with doubts regarding the merger.
The memo read out as follows: “As we now begin this transition, we will be in touch with more details. In the interim, we will be communicating with each of you regarding new policies and procedures. HR will also be available to answer any and all questions you may have.”
Previously, it was rumored by PWInsider that there was panic among employees at the headquarters due to the changes. Usually, mergers are associated with layoffs, so staff members were preparing in advance for the same. Therefore, it may be a tough time ahead for the companies despite the historic significance of the deal.
Nick Khan comments on the possibility of a CM Punk return

CM Punk has been at the center of headlines since his controversial departure from AEW. As a result, speculation started to begin regarding a possible comeback for the Second City Saint to the WWE. After the merger with the UFC was finalized, Nick Khan spoke with ESPN, where he briefly addressed CM Punk’s situation.
Khan gave an ambiguous reply to the question. He said, “Listen, we only have respect for Phil. We appreciate his run here. We appreciate what he did and tried to do with the UFC. Not many people can actually get in there and do what he did. So, when we have respect for Phil, we wish him nothing but the best.”
The WWE President neither said “yes” nor “no” to the possibility of Punk’s return to the promotion. The fans are still waiting for CM Punk to break his silence after his controversial release last weekend. Interestingly, the response may be a deciding factor in the Stamford-based promotion hiring back
