Following his return to WWE Survivor Series 2023, R-Truth has been on the receiving end of significant attention.
The 51-year-old has not only delivered serious matches but has also reignited his chemistry with some old-schoolers. In the same context, he confirmed that he recorded a song with John Cena.
Truth was recently a part of a rapid-fire segment by backstage personality Jackie Redmond. She went on to ask whether the rumors of him recording a song with the 16-time World Champion back in 2010 were true. To the surprise of everyone, the truth was affirmed, and here’s what he had to say:
Yeah, it's true. We just never released it. Its a good question though.R-Truth to Jackie Redmond
It should be noted that a sigh was followed by the truth after he answered. It seems Jackie rekindled some old memories of the former United States Champion. Nobody except Truth and Cena knows what happened to the song and whether it still exists or not.
Additionally, Truth was asked who his favorite member was on Judgment Day. Truth went on to pick up the Archer of Infamy, Damian Priest.
Funnily, the clip where Senor Money in the Bank declares his hatred for Truth and beats him gets played. All in all, it was a fun segment where Truth not only revealed a secret but also entertained as always.
Rhea Ripley clears the air on R-Truth’s position in The Judgment Day
Ever since he made his return, R-Truth has been seemingly pestering Judgment Day. With a vehement desire to become a part of their stable, the veteran even wrestled in a “winner leaves” Judgment Day match.
Despite emerging victorious, the Eradicator, Rhea Ripley, has denied him entry into their fold.
I've had it up to here with Truth, I really have. He's not in The Judgment Day. We're not looking at Truth right now, and he's trying to weasel his way in. He's breaking into our clubhouse. That's not okay.Rhea Ripley on R-Truth
These words were iterated by Ripley during the WWE 2024 Preview Special. The Eradicator even went on to apologize for hurting people’s feelings but seemed adamant with her decision. She stated that unless there is an official response, fans are to see Truth as someone outside of Judgment Day.
Ripley also touched on the recent reunion of Awesome Truth witnessed on Raw Day One. As much as it was nostalgic seeing them together, Truth seemed troubled fighting JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio with his loyalty towards Judgment Day.
