The Viper doesn’t like it when someone else uses the RKO. Recently, a clip of a man dropping people randomly with RKOs went viral on social media. In response, Randy Orton asked to bring the punk kick back and give that daft a good old case of CTE, or chronic traumatic encephalopathy. Orton didn’t stop there, as he also called for the man’s incarceration for 5 years.

The 14-time World Champion was a part of the hellacious Elimination Chamber match this past Saturday. At first, he smashed the all-time record for most appearances inside the notorious structure. And then, The Apex Predator got ever-so-close to winning the second chamber of his career. However, Logan Paul had other plans. Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton were the last two men vying for that elusive WrestleMania quota.

Despite a battered spine, Randy collected whatever he had left and dished out an RKO on McIntyre. But, just when everyone thought he was about to win, Logan knocked out The Viper with brass knuckles. And it was over for Orton.

Moments later, Drew slid over Randy to get the pinfall, and he will now challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania XL. As for Orton, it’s clear as daylight that he’s got some unfinished business with The Maverick.

Dave Meltzer of WON confirmed that Paul vs. Orton is indeed the plan for The Showcase of the Immortals. However, a portion of fans feel that it could possibly be morphed into a multi-man scenario. With Kevin Owens‘ obsession with Logan, he may also end up getting added to the US title match in Philadelphia. And who knows if there’s even more?

Did Randy Orton injure himself at the Elimination Chamber?

The Viper’s physical well-being was a grave matter of concern among the fans following his outing at the Elimination Chamber. Minutes after his initial adrenaline quelled, Orton was seen favoring his back.

Fans on social media began bickering with each other about how the Legend Killer was taking too much toll on himself. However, there were some who thought that Randy wasn’t injured but displayed a masterclass in selling.

Though it seems the latter was true, Orton may need to slow it down. Especially after he spent 554 days on the shelf owing to his back fusion surgery. Last year, when he returned at the Survivor Series, The Viper hinted that he believed he had another decade left in him.
