Cena and Orton were fierce rivals in WWE.

Soon to be Hall of Famer, The Apex Predator, current one-half of WWE Raw Tag Team Champion, Randy Orton has recently completed 20 years with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He is a 14-time World Champion.

He became the WWE Grand-Slam champion after he won the United States Championship for the 1st time in his career at Fastlane 2018 by defeating Robert Roode. He’s arguably one of the best professional-wrestlers to ever step foot inside the squared circle. Orton has had many memorable and legendary opponents throughout his hall-of-fame worthy career but you always have some standouts. One such rival is the 16-time World Champion John Cena.

But, the WWE Universe has been badly missing upon their favourite superstar in the form of John Cena ever since the latter has pursued hollywood career on a full-time basis and so is his former bitter counterpart, Randy Orton.

Orton said that – “ I love John, he was my favourite opponent….. Dude’s a genius. I miss you, John.I miss you”.

Orton and Cena were said to be the ‘Faces’ of WWE at one point. They had one of the most intriguing and personal rivalries in WWE history stretching over for years. Some of the best matches from their intense rivalry include the “I Quit” match from 2009 Breaking Point and the 2009 Hell in a Cell match.

Going through the stats, John Cena and Randy Orton has faced each other on 22 different occasions out of which 13 matches was won by Cena, 7 by Orton.

Could we ever see John Cena Vs. Randy Orton one last time in WWE again?

Even though John Cena has become a part-timer in recent years in WWE he always stays ready for an opportunity to perform for the WWE Universe.

John Cena was last seen competing against Roman Reigns at Summerslam last year where he was defeated and this loss ended the dream “Summer of Cena” which started off from Money in the Bank 2021. Cena would go on to make a dark appearance on the September 10th edition of WWE Smackdown, which marked Cena’s last WWE appearance as of late.

Well, If we talk about the possibility of seeing Cena Vs Orton happen one more time before both the legends hang up their boots, this match could happen cause WWE loves to revisit the rivalries from the past.

But if we think about the right time and place where this epic match (rematch I would say) should happen, only one name comes around in our minds and i.e., Wrestlemania.

WWE fans would love to see two of their favourite superstars cross paths once again.
