While the legacy of Randy Orton cannot be forgotten by the wrestling industry anytime in the future, the legacy of the Undertaker is also unforgettable. The Viper and the Deadman have been two long time to rivals and have been a part of some of the most memorable matches in the history of the company.
Randy Orton recently sat on WWE the Bump celebrating his 20 glorious years and discussed about his first match with WWE Hall of Famer, the Undertaker. The Viper said that the Undertaker have a lot of things to him in the match and that he had a heard from a lot of people that the Undertaker respected him as a performer. Here’s what he said:
“Yeah, that really was amazing. That was during the American Badass days. Undertaker was very giving to me in that match. I like looking back at that and it reminds me of how a guy of his stature put it all out there and did everything he could for me on that SmackDown that night. And he didn’t have to do that, is my point. He did not have to take a hip toss and an arm drag from Randy Orton.”
“He was The Undertaker, the American Badass. He was the man and still is the man. And the fact that he left me to bounce around that ring like that, that spoke a lot, that said a lot about his respect for me as a performer, his respect for my father as a performer, it goes all the way back to that.” – Sportskeeda

On the most recent epsiode of Monday Night Raw, Riddle welcomed the Viper, Randy Orton to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the former multiple time champion. While the celebration didn’t last long, it allowed Orton talk about the enjoyment he was experiencing lately with his tag team partner, Riddle.
