“He lost his s**t and f**king ran out”- Former WWE Superstar reveals Randy Orton’s reaction to Chris Benoit double-murder and suicide
Randy Orton in the WWE
Randy Orton is one of the greatest WWE Superstars ever to have graced the Squared circle. Randy Orton has established himself as the company’s prominent and top WWE Superstars of all time. Orton is a hard worker and makes sure that he doesn’t leave the building without entertaining the WWE Universe. Randy Orton has involved himself in some interesting storylines throughout his career and his heel work is one of the best in the company. Randy Orton’s rivalry against John Cena is one of the greatest rivalries in the history of the WWE.
Randy Orton is currently out of action due to a back injury and is expected to stay out of action for the rest of the year. Orton may return at the Royal Rumble next year and who knows he might win it third time in his career and tie win Steve Austin for most Royal Rumble wins. This being said as the WWE owes Randy a Championship match as the Viper was initially supposed to face Roman Reigns at the SummerSlam but the plan was cancelled due to his injury and he was replaced by Brock Lesnar.
Randy Orton had won the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time after defeating Chris Benoit
Randy Orton had lost the Intercontinental Championship to Edge at the Vengeance Pay Per View in 2004, but his sadness over losing didn’t last long as he became the no 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship against Chris Benoit at SummerSlam. At the event Randy Orton countered the crippler crossface into an RKO and pinned Benoit to become the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in the history of WWE. Chris Benoit lauded Randy after the match and shook the Viper’s hand in appreciation. Thus, Randy Orton’s first major title win in the company came against Chris Benoit
After the win, Randy Orton was ousted from the evolution as Triple H became jealous and resentful towards him and wanted only himself from the group to be the winner of the Major Championship. Randy Orton defended the title against Benoit in a rematch but ultimately lost it to Triple H at Unforgiven 2004.
Chris Benoit won’t be forgiven ever for his heinous crime he committed before taking his own life. Chris was a great and flawless wrestler, who made sure things look believable and always put his body on the line. There won’t be any other like benoit and his talent in the ring is unrivalled, though the exact circumstances unknown, he would always be known as the man who murdered his wife and child.
Recently, during an appearance on the “Cheap Heat Productions Podcast,” Rory McAllister spoke about the reaction of Randy Orton, when the Viper learnt about Chris Benoit’s double Murder and Suicide. McAllister said that Orton had a sudden burst of emotion and ran out of the Airport after learning about the incident.
“Randy goes for coffee and he comes walking back and every screen in the center of the hub of the airport, ‘Murder suicide, murder suicide.’ Dude, Randy just lost his s**t. He literally just lost his s**t and f**king ran out the airport. He was home anyway.”
McAllister was a part of the tag team called as “The Highlanders” and wrestled in the WWE from 2005 to 2008.
