“I’ll do auditions”: Randy Orton reveals his retirement plans

The Legend Killer

Randy Orton is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He is a third-generation professional wrestler – who successfully came out of the shadow of his family’s name and carved a successful name for himself. Orton has been with the company for over two decades now, and is one of the greatest Heels in the world of professional wrestling.

Throughout his career, Orton has played several iconic roles on-screen like “The Viper”, “The Legend Killer” and “The Apex Predator”. He went on to become the youngest World Champion in the history of the company, when he became the World Heavyweight Champion – at the age of 24. Nearly 20 years later, and today he is one of the most successful Superstars in the history of the company.

Randy Orton is a 14-time WWE World Champion. In terms of highest number of World title reigns, The Viper is right behind John Cena and Ric Flair’s 16 World title reigns. Currently, Orton is one-half of the Raw Tag Team Champions – a title which he holds with his RK-Bro partner, Riddle.

Considering Randy Orton has been showing no signs of slowing down, it seems quite likely that he could go on to become the World Champion with most title reigns. In fact, he still has several years to give to WWE – as he mentioned on the latest video on WWE’s YouTube Channel.

“I’m 41, by the time I’m 50, I think I’m done. I’ll do auditions every once in a while. But I almost only do them because my wife says, Do them because what if you don’t and then you’ll wonder what if you did,” mentioned the 14-time World Champion.

Riddle and Randy Orton currently hold the RAW Tag Team Championship. The Usos are their counterparts on the Blue brand, holding the Smackdown Women’s Championship. After unifying the WWE and the Universal Champion at Wrestlemania 38, Roman Reigns ordered The Usos to unify the Tag Team titles.

This has led to the Tag Team Unification match at Wrestlemania Backlash. RK-Bro will be colliding against The Usos. But before that, the Legend Killer will be in the mood to celebrate on the latest episode of Raw. He will be celebrating his 20-year anniversary with the company this week.
