The Viper, Randy Orton, has been an iconic wrestling figure. He has been one of the best talents in WWE for years. He recently returned to WWE after a career-threatening injury. Upon his return, he implicitly expressed that he has more years to come in his career as a wrestler. In his recent interview, The Apex Predator named his arch nemesis John Cena as his dream opponent in WWE under an interesting scenario.

During a conversation with Kayla Braxton on WWE’s The Bump show, Randy Orton stated that he has wrestled John Cena numerous times in his career. However, he never had a match against The Cenation Leader at WrestleMania. Therefore, he would like to face Mr. Hustle Loyalty Respect at WrestleMania for a title.

A dream match for me would be to somehow find myself in a situation where I’m fighting Cena at WrestleMania for the title. I don’t know how you get there, I’m not saying it’s gonna happen. But I have never wrestled John at WrestleMania in a singles match. We had some wars back in the day, so being able to revisit that after all this, I think it’s not only something that I would want, I think the fans would eat it up too.

The Legend Killer and John Cena had one of the most remarkable rivalries in WWE. The two stars used to be arch nemeses of each other in the prime of their careers. Besides, they are good friends in real life. It is going to be an ecstatic opportunity for their fans to see the legends hitting up one more time against each other at WrestleMania for a title if it actually happens.

Cena is close to retirement, as revealed by himself. Despite that, there is always a possibility of this match taking place. As for Randy Orton, he will be looking to become a 15-time World Champion at Royal Rumble as he will compete in a Fatal 4-Way match for the Undisputed Title. Only time will tell if WWE actually pulls the trigger to make Cena vs. Orton one more time in WWE.

On WWE’s The Bump Show, Randy revealed that he was quite upset with Punk’s return, as the spotlight was passed on to him. However, after some time, it was alright, as a similar amount of buzz was around Orton as well. Moreover, he stated that he was glad to see the Second City Saint back in WWE.
