Fans were shocked on Monday Night Raw after seeing Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville win the Women’s Tag Team Championship. They defeated Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan for the titles and won their first championships in the company. After the loss, Rodriguez took to Twitter to talk about the match and apologize to her partner for losing.

She wrote, “I tried y’all, I’m sorry @YaOnlyLivvOnce I let you down.” This was the second title reign for the duo, as they had to vacate their titles the first time due to Liv Morgan’s injury. However, Morgan made a surprise return on an episode of Raw. Liv and Raquel defeated Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler to win the titles for the second time, which they lost this week on Raw.

Since debuting on the main roster, Raquel Rodriguez has majorly been a part of the tag team dividion as she won the titles for the first time with Aliyah. However, on NXT, Rodriguez was one of the main stars. She won the NXT Women’s Championship once and the Tag Team Championship twice with Dakota Kai.

According to recent reports, Raquel Rodriguez will now challenge her NXT rival Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam. This was teased on the July 17 episode of Raw as The Eradicator attacked Rodriguez. As a result, the 32-year-old struggled throughout her match.

Additionally, she was seen going out of the arena with a sling on her arm. This could be a bad sign for the fans, as Morgan returned just a few weeks ago from a shoulder injury. Fans will hope that this is not serious and that Morgan will be available for next week’s show. The buildup for SummerSlam has started, and fans would love to see the former SmackDown Champion in a feud with someone.
