Raquel Rodriguez is one of the strongest women in the current roster of the WWE. Raquel Rodriguez has the ability to outperform some of the men from the roster and her strength is something that separates her from other wrestlers in the WWE.

Recently, she fought in the gauntlet match for the spot against Liv Morgan at the Clash at the Castle Premium Live event, but failed to win the match. Though she failed to win the match she managed to eliminate most of the opponents in the match, but in the end, she was defeated by Shayna Baszler. Shayna Baszler failed to win the Clash at the Castle against Morgan.

Even though Raquel Rodriguez lost the opportunity to face Morgan at the Clash at the Castle Live Event, she and Aliyah won the Tag Team Championship Tournament for the vacated titles. They lost the titles in 14 days to DAMAGE CTRL’s Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky on September 12th edition of RAW.

Raquel Rodriguez has had a fantastic run in the WWE at NXT Brand. She won the NXT Women’s Championship once and held it for 202 days before losing to Mandy Rose at the Halloween Havoc event in October 2021. Rodriguez failed to win the title back at the NXT New Year’s evil. Thereafter, she won the NXT Women’s Tag team championship with Dakota Kai for the second time and held it for 3 days before losing to Toxic Attraction.

After the NXT tag Championship loss, Raquel was shifted to main roster and made her main roster debut on April 8th edition of SmackDown. In May, Raquel Rodriguez answered an open challenge by Ronda Rousey to face her for the SmackDown Women’s Championship but lost the match. That match displayed that Raquel Rodriguez definitely has the potential to become a women’s champion one day.

During a recent interview with NBC Sports Boston, Raquel Rodriguez said that she was extremely nervous about facing the baddest woman on the planet. Though she lost the match Rodriguez said that she couldn’t be prouder that she went toe to toe against Rousey. Rodriguez expressed her delight at having given her all in that match.

“It was one of the most nerve-racking days, I would say I’ve had in a very, very long time, From the beginning of the day when I woke up until the end of the night, I was just on pins and needles, just excited … I was looking across the ring, you know, telling Ronda Rousey, ‘My name is Raquel Rodriguez,’ I was like, ‘Holy caca. This is the baddest woman on the planet and I’m about to go toe-to-toe with her … I could not have been prouder; I could not have been happier with everything that I gave in that match.”

On the latest edition of SmackDown Raquel Rodriguez teamed up with Shotzi to defeat Sonya Deville and Xia Li in a tag team match.
