“So yeah, I think” Raquel Rodriguez talks about women wrestlers main eventing outer events like Crown Jewel
Raquel Rodriguez in WWE
One of the tallest women’s wrestlers currently on the WWE roster is Raquel Rodriguez. Whether she is a heel or a babyface, she has been an unstoppable force in NXT. When she was called up to the main roster, she used one of the worst gimmicks possible because her character was unsure.
She was portrayed as one of the top stars and a rival for the Women’s crown, and she always had a smile on her face. She competed in important matches against women’s division stars like Ronda Rousey and Natalya. When she and Aliyah won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, she received considerable encouragement, but she soon lost.
Raquel Rodriguez wants WWE Women’s Division to grow even more
Over the years, WWE Divas have gotten better and better. Since Stephanie McMahon put a lot of effort into it, women are now just as competitive as men. Even more, she started the yearly 30 Women’s Royal Rumble and Evolution Pay Per View.
This was the result of some serious labour on Stephanie’s part, and she keeps making improvements. Raquel Rodriguez concurs and notes that many female wrestlers competed at last year’s Crown Jewel, a premium event held outside the US. This year, matches are scheduled.
Raquel had mentioned that she wanted female wrestlers to be the major attraction of this kind of show and other significant non-US events of this kind. WWE’s Crowl Jewel, Super Show-Down, and the most recent one, Clash At The Castle, are three notable examples.
Raquel said, “Yes, yes I do. I was very excited about the last trip they took to Saudi Arabia because they took so many women with them and we had so much of our women’s roster representing over there. It was so great. So yeah, I think women are gonna the main event one of these Crown Jewel events for sure.”
