WWE Raw draws lowest viewership since December 2021

The Bloodline kicked off Monday Night Raw.
WWE Raw for it’s Wrestlemania Backlash go-home episode didn’t garnered the interest of much audience. WWE presented the latest edition of Monday Night Raw from the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina this week. The show already had The Bloodline (Roman Reigns and The Usos) announced in prior to the show. So how did the viewership and ratings turned out for the show?
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, WWE Raw on USA network averaged a total viewership of 1.581 million viewers and a 0.38 rating in the key 18-49 demographic which represents 4,91,000 viewers of the total audience in this category range. The show ranked #4 on cable for the night in P18-49 range. One of the main reasons for the huge decline in numbers are the ongoing NBA playoff games which collide with Raw on head-to-head basis Mondays.
This week’s number is the lowest since December 2021. In a slight comparison, last week’s show did 1.613 million viewers with 0.44 rating in P18-49.
What happened on this week’s WWE Raw?

WWE Raw opened up with the current most dominant faction in WWE, The Bloodline. Roman Reigns along with The Usos and Paul Heyman made his grand entrance down to the ring. Suddenly, when they were in the ring RK-Bro came out of nowhere and took out both The Usos with 2 picture-perfect RKO’s. Later then, Reigns was left alone in the ring with Orton and Riddle, next adding to the woes of The Tribal Chief, Drew McIntyre also came out and got face-to-face with Roman Reigns.
Both men then started to trade huge blows amid the Usos and RK-Bro brawl happening alongside. When all 6 men were attacking each other, WWE officials came out to separate them out which received boos from the live crowd sitting there as they were clearly enjoying that scene.
Seth Rollins also got his Appreciation Night interrupted by The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes. Rollins insulted Cody’s father during their heated promo which lead to brawl between two for a while. In the end, Rhodes executed a Cody Stunner off the middle rope on Rollins to close out the segment.
The Judgement Day (Edge and Damian Priest) also cut a promo over AJ Styles, later on Styles defeated Priest to get him banned from the ringside from Styles Vs. Edge match at Wrestlemania Backlash. After the match, when both Edge and Priest were attacking Styles, Finn Balor came out to the rescue taking out the Judgement Day. Styles and Balor then posed with that Bullet Club signature mark to give fans a lot of joy.
