Former Divas Champion Nikki Bella, a.k.a. Nikki Garcia, was one of the most significant names in the Women’s Revolution in WWE. She was once the face of the women’s division in the company. However, it looks like she is currently at loggerheads with WWE, as the company omitted her mention on their television programming this week.

The real reason behind WWE avoiding Nikki Garcia’s mention on Raw is that the two parties are at odds. Garcia has previously criticized WWE for the lackluster booking of their women’s division. The tension was all-time high in March this year after Nikki and her twin sister Brie Bella announced the expiration of their WWE contracts.

The two stars have dropped the last name of “Bella” ever since and have carried on with “Garcia.” This week on Raw, WWE was promoting “Barmageddon,” which features Nikki Garcia as the co-host. Michael Cole omitted the mention of the former Divas Champion. The moment was noticed by a lot of fans, who ended up raising eyebrows.

Nikki Garcia reveals the “upsetting” way WWE officially ended ties with her

Nikki Bella’s contract with WWE expired earlier this year. She has been using her name “Garcia” ever since. Recently, while appearing on a podcast, Nikki revealed that WWE seized her last name, “Bella,” without any previous notification. In essence, she revealed that she was informed that WWE is seizing her last name just four hours prior to the expiration of her contract.

While speaking on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Nikki Garcia revealed that it was very upsetting. The former Divas Champion expected that there would be a proper discussion about who gets to own the “Bella” name. She poignantly said that she had built that name for 20 years only to be abruptly taken away.
