Damian Priest has persistently sought to exploit his Money in the Bank briefcase by targeting Seth Rollins on numerous occasions. Despite repeated chances, every endeavor has ended in disappointment for The Archer of Infamy. Yet, recently, when the ideal moment arose, Priest unexpectedly chose not to proceed with cashing in which resulted in fans brutally trolling him on social media. Now, the Judgment Day member has disclosed the reason behind his decision.
During an interview with West Sport, Damian Priest elaborated on his strategy regarding the Money in the Bank briefcase. He acknowledged that, as Seth Rollins, the current champion, is medically unavailable, he cannot cash in at the moment. As such, he refrains from cashing in until the champion is cleared to compete.

Priest emphasized the importance of caution, stating that he prefers waiting for the right opportunity rather than risking a failed cash-in, especially given his numerous unsuccessful attempts in the past. He expressed confidence in his eventual ascension to a major title, whether on Raw or SmackDown, and highlighted WrestleMania as a potential pivotal moment for his pursuit of championship gold.
I'm based on Raw. Being that Seth Rollins is the champion, unfortunately, he's not medically cleared. I can't cash in right now. Officially, he can't be in a match. I kind of have to wait until he's cleared or, if I find myself on the other show, it'd be different. That champion [Roman Reigns] is not really around all the time either. It's one of those things where I'm biding my time.Damian Priest
Given the current landscape and ongoing storylines within WWE, it appears Damian Priest’s cash-in opportunity may not materialize until WrestleMania. With Seth Rollins out of action and Roman Reigns’ uncertain appearances, the timing for a successful cash-in seems uncertain.
