The recent episode of Monday Night Raw featured a match between Raquel Rodriguez and Chelsea Green. WWE originally had plans to have a Women’s Tag Team Championship match this week. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were scheduled to face Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green on Monday Night Raw. The match was called off at the last moment.
There was a last-minute change of plans this week as Liv Morgan was missing from the show. As a result, Raquel Rodriguez battled in a singles match. Morgan is one of the most prominent superstars in the WWE women’s division. Therefore, her absence has caused great concern among the fans who have been waiting to see her on WWE television.
In a backstage segment on Raw, WWE revealed that Liv Morgan suffered an injury due to which she was absent from the show. Last week on SmackDown, the Queen of Extreme defended the tag titles in a match against Bayley and Dakota Kai. It was during the match that she sustained the injury.
Liv Morgan’s status is obscure, as there has not been much update on it yet. The severity of the injury will decide the fate of the former Raw Women’s Champion. There have been speculations that it is in fact a non-severe injury since Morgan tweeted a picture of her and Rodriguez posing with their championships.
D-Von Dudley confesses his love towards Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan signed with WWE in 2014. Since then, she has become one of the most famous names in the WWE women’s division. Her recent character has been fascinating to fans and followers. While many fans love this on-screen character, some of her co-workers love her for her charm and charisma off the screen.
During an episode of The Table Talk podcast, D-Von Dudley recalled his confession to Morgan regarding his love for her within a short time of their first meeting. He said, “Because she was herself. That’s the one thing I love about Liv. She’s so herself and you’re not gonna get anything less than Liv Morgan. I love it. Phenomenal,” he said.
D-Von Dudley has been a remarkable name in WWE. He worked as a backstage producer for the company. Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley made several appearances on WWE television on numerous occasions. They paved the way for the upcoming generations of the company.
