Renee Paquette signed with the WWE in October, 2012 and was a backstage interviewer for Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown, NXT and other WWE shows for the major part of her early days in the WWE. She began working as a full-time ring commentator on Tuesday Nights in September 2013, when she made her commentary debut for NXT. Renee Paquette then on the August 13, 2018, became the first women to call an entire episode of Monday Night Raw.
The following month, she became the first permanent female commentator on the show and joined the Raw commentary team as a full-time announcer. In August 2020, Paquette at SummerSlam announced her departure from the company. Renee Paquette clarifies that the reason for her leaving WWE was the cancelation of her show, WWE Backstage and that she realized that there was nothing more for her to accomplish in WWE.

As A Co-CEO, I Think She’s Amazing – Renee Paquette has all praises for the new WWE Chairman

Vince McMahon last week shocked the world with a sudden resignation as the CEO and Chairman of the WWE amid ongoing investigation into sexual misconduct and infidelity allegations with former co-workers, Renee Paquette was asked if she was surprised.
“Yeah, I mean, it was quick,” Renee Paquette in response to Hausman’s question. Following Vince McMahon‘s resignation, Stephanie McMahon and WWE President Nick Khan were designated the new Co-CEOs of the company last Friday. Paquette continued, “I’m sure it’s a very interesting, I’m sure a very stressful time with all that’s going on over there [WWE].” Renee Paquette offered her opinion on the new WWE Chairman Stephanie McMahon. “As a Co-CEO, I think she’s amazing,” Renee Paquette said.
After learning of Mr. McMahon’s retirement, Stephanie’s husband and WWE Hall of Famer Triple H was named Head of WWE Creative. Paquette continued complimenting the work of the new WWE Chairman by saying, “She’s not only like one of the best performers in WWE but I think all the work she does behind the scenes [also stands out].”
