Over the past few months, there has been a lot of discussion around Sasha Banks’ current situation with the WWE. It all began with her and the other member of the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Naomi walking out of the main event match on a WWE Raw broadcast the night before.
Sasha Banks hasn’t been officially announced for the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) in August, but there is no verified news on whether she is still connected to the WWE or not. According to rumors, a number of WWE stars believe that Sasha Banks has actually left the company.
According to reports, The Boss’ departure from the organization is a belief shared by the WWE Creative team. Additionally, a number of media publications suggested that the multiple women’s champion had her WWE contract terminated last month.
It has now come to public knowledge that Banks had informed the wrestling promoters that she would only be able to accept non-wrestling-related appointments until the 1st of January, 2023. It is still unknown whether her contract will come to an end after that mentioned date.
In this case, it’s worth noting that WWE hasn’t yet released the superstar.
According to the report, “We also reached out to other convention organizers who confirmed they reached out to her reps, and were quoted a firm, specific rate. However, wrestling-related promoters that attempted to book her were told that she was only taking non-wrestling-related bookings until January 1. WWE has still not officially confirmed her release publicly.”

How is life for Sasha Banks outside WWE?
Although she has been away from the wrestling ring, Banks was spotted multiple times over the last few weeks. She was even seen hanging out with her best friend Bayley at Disney World. There she posed for a photo with a child, with the iconic dome in the background.
Sasha Banks is one of the most popular female superstars to have ever appeared in WWE. In fact, the 30-year-old American has also been included in WWE’s list of the 50 Greatest Women Superstars of All Time. In that list, she is ranked 6th. That’s an impressive ranking, given that the list contains some of the greatest names in the history of the organization.
Although Sasha’s admirers can’t wait to see her back in action, it seems their wait would be stretched further until next year.
