The 16-time World Champion, Ric Flair, journeyed to the Raymond James Stadium last night. He was there to bestow his support on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Flair was first spotted joining the ESPN broadcast with Melissa Beisner-Buck and Robert Griffin lll. Upon being asked to pick a winner for the wild card game between the Bucs and the visiting Philadelphia Eagles, Ric went with the majority and picked the home team.
Then, the 74-year-old wrestling icon fired the cannons, much to the delight of a packed house in Florida. The Nature Boy’s credentials were on display on the jumbotron as the NFL tryst quickly turned into a chorus of woos. And Flair’s sojourn was worth it as the Buccaneers toppled the Eagles in a thumping fashion by 32-9. Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield led the baton with a trifecta of touchdowns, setting up a second-round clash with the Detroit Lions.
One may ponder whether Ric Flair’s been a lifelong Bucks fan or if he’s just relishing in the flavor of the month. However, considering the former Evolution member has been a Tampa native for years and has stayed loyal to the franchise, Ric bleeds red. Overall, it was an absolute blast out there on Monday night as the game utterly outshined WWE’s flagship program, Raw.

The ratings will be out later today, but it could be a massacre for the Stamford-based promotion. Only time will tell what number an attraction-lacking, storyline-driven edition of Raw manages to amass. It was indeed a big night for the Bucs, as they managed to knock out the defending NFC Champions.
Is Ric Flair preparing for an in-ring return?
Even in his mid-70s, Ric Flair aims to run through a brick wall. Recently, he posted an image of his own on X. He could be seen taking a breather after a potentially grueling session inside the ring. Does that mean he’s aiming for another match?
Well, he has made it clear that he still feels he can go. Moreover, The Space Mountain claims that he’s been cleared from a medical standpoint to take bumps. Also, the caption that he attached to his aforementioned post alludes to Naitch having one match left in him.

He initially debuted in All Elite Wrestling as Tony Khan’s gift for Sting en route to his retirement tour that culminates at AEW Revolution in March. Flair might have active involvement in Stinger’s final hoo-ha against The Young Bucks.
