WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat or better known as Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat is one of the most respected and talented professional wrestlers of all time. Steamboat is one of the very few individuals who were inducted into the Hall of Fame of every promotion they wrestled for.
Ricky is often referred to as “the ultimate good guy” of pro wrestling as he never worked as a heel in his 20- year long wrestling career. As the ultimate babyface he is remembered for his feuds with Ric Flair and “Macho Man” Randy Savage.

However, Steamboat even after remaining a babyface throughout his career was never able to receive the push he deserved. He was only able to capture The Intercontinental Championship for once in his career.
But The Dragon was a popular face at WCW as he won the WCW World Tag Team Championship, WCW United States Championship, and the WCW World Television Championship there. He is also a one time NWA Heavyweight Champion.
After leaving WWE, he returned in 2005 and mainly acted as a special referee and engaged in a brief feud with Chris Jericho which he eventually lost. But one thing that reflected through Steamboat’s in-ring return that it was clear that he was still fit to compete in the ring.
Now, it is being reported that The Hall of Famer is coming back to wrestle a match but it’s not for WWE. According to The Sports Illustrated Ricky Steamboat is scheduled to wrestle at a Big Time Wrestling event which is slated to happen on November 27 at the Dorton Arena in Raleigh in North Carolina.
Though Steamboat took the retirement in 1994 about he came out of it during his 2005 WWE run. He last fought Drew McIntyre at a house show in 2009 for WWE, but was last seen in the ring when he teamed up with his son Richie Steamboat to defeat The Dudebusters at an FCW event in 2010.
Though it is still not clear who will Ricky Steamboat face on his In-Ring return after the decade but the fans would surely be excited to see The Dragon back in the ring after such a long time. It would surely be exciting to see how much heat is able to pull off at an age of 69 years.
