“It Caught Me Little Off-Guard”- Riddle Reveals His Backstage Heat With Goldberg At SummerSlam 2019

Riddle is fun to watch both outside and inside the ring. The Original Bro always has that charisma and slapstick humor with him wherever he goes. The former Mixed Martial Artist has established a good name for himself in WWE in a very short time. He is mainly recognized for his time holding WWE Raw Tag Team Championship with The Apex Predator Randy Orton. The two formed the alliance of RK-BRO which quickly became popular.
The two separated after Randy Orton is currently out of action dealing with a back injury. Since then Riddle has been working as a singles competitor currently feuding with Seth Rollins. The Original Bro is all set to take on Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. Though he is always a happy go to lucky guy but this sometimes has resulted in a problem as well.
Riddle Speaks About His Interaction With Goldberg at SummerSlam 2019
The former Ultimate Fighter winner recently spoke about his interaction with Goldberg at Summerslam 2019 and describes how intense it was. Filled with compelling matches and all the big names, SummerSlam 2019 was an event to remember. Main- Evented by Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar for Universal Championship, and matches like Dolph Ziggler VS Goldberg made the PPV extremely special.
But fans also remember the Hall Of Famer not just for his match but also his interaction with Riddle in a brief backstage statement. Riddle had met Goldberg backstage where the two were seen greeting each other and there was a visible tension between the two as well.
Goldberg then asked Riddle to talk to him after the event to which Riddle eventually agreed but called Goldberg his “Bro” before leaving which didn’t go well with the Hall of Famer as he replied – “I am Not Your Bro”. Now shedding a light on the incident, the superstar recently spoke about it on an interview with Prosiebienmaxx.
Riddle said- “Yeah, Goldberg is, look, if there’s one word to sum up Goldberg it would have be intense, right? The guy’s pretty intense, you know? And yeah, our encounter was intense and I was not expecting it, it caught me a little off guard. But, once I realized what was going on, I kinda threw it back at him too. It is what it is.” No doubt he was caught a little off guard there, but it seems since then both the superstars have patched up their animosities towards each other.
