Pro-Wrestling is so unpredictable and you will get a better idea of that in few moments. Recently, WWE Hall of Famer, Road Dogg shared an insight of a recent happening and why he felt sorry for that. First of all, for the unverse, Road Dogg is a legend of this business and has been one of the most popular figures during the Attitude Era.
He is a former 5-time WWE Tag-Team Champion where he found most of his notoriety alongside his partner Billy Gunn as part of the New Age Outlaws. The duo will be remembered as one of the most iconic pairings of all-time and they also altered the definition of how real Tag-Team wrestling should look like.
Dogg is currently signed with WWE under a legends contract where he also plays a significant role in backstage activities. Most recently, he was the incharge of this week’s Monday Night Raw episode from top to bottom as Triple H was diagnosed Covid-19 positive. The show was an overall success and even drew 1.803 million viewers despite heavy football competition.

Road Dogg shares why Billy Gunn missed the DX reunion on WWE Raw

Two weeks ago, on the season premiere of Monday Night Raw, it was also the celebration night for one of the most rebellious and iconic groups in WWE history, Degeneration X. They arrived in style inside the Barclays Center upon their trademark DX tank. Each of those legends were there to commemorate 25 years of their existence, except for one.
Obviously that missing link was Roady’s Tag-Team partner, the BadAss Billy Gunn. We know that Billy is currently under a contract with AEW but that doesn’t mean that WWE did not tried to get him available for one special night, however they failed in the pursuit.
Road Dogg even revealed that he asked Gunn about his status for appearing to which he initially got a yes from his buddy. Sadly, when he reached home, Billy Gunn sent him a text saying now he’s not in. Here’s what Road Dogg had to say during this week’s, “Oh you didn’t know” podcast,
“It broke my heart, and I believe it broke his too. In all actuality, Hunter was not happy about it either. Shawn and X-Pac weren’t either. During the day prior, I texted him, ‘Hey, are you going to be able to make it? Have you found out any answers yet?’ He said, ‘Yes, I’m in.’ I was like, ‘Oh my God, that’s awesome.’ Literally, before I landed at home, I found out he was not in. I texted him back and he wasn’t happy either.”
