Seth Rollins is regarded as one of the best WWE wrestlers of this generation. Seth Rollins has been in feud with Cody Rhodes this year, which has been and will probably be awarded as the best feud of the year by Wrestling Newsletter Observer. Rollins has been beaten three times by Cody, once at WrestleMania 38, once at WrestleMania Backlash and the latest being the Hell in a Cell. Their bout at the Hell in a Cell is being regarded as one of the best in recent years, with Dave Meltzer giving it 5 stars, the first time he has given since 2011.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins just competed in the Money in the Bank Ladder match but lost. It was won by Theory, who was unveiled to be the eighth participant just before the match. Rollins hasn’t been able to clinch a major WWE championship since his defeat to Fiend in 2019 at the Crown Jewel. Rollins had lost the Universal Championship to “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. The most recent opportunity that Seth Rollins had got was for the WWE Championship at Day 1 in a fatal Four Way match consisting of Big E (Champion), Kevin Owens, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley. Brock Lesnar had won the match.

Former WWE Superstar and Personnel Road Dogg has been reminiscing on his time as a WWE coach and has revealed about some of the company’s top stars, including former WWE Universal, WWE Champion and NXT Champion Seth Rollins.

Road Dogg described Seth Rollins as obstinate, recalling an occasion in which he observed Rollins attempting an old technique and went to him to tell him that it was anti-climatic and appeared as though the build up to it was greater than the conclusion, but Rollins refused to listen to Dogg’s advice. Road Dogg then informed NXT creator and executive director Triple H that he would never speak with Rollins again.

“He used to do this thing in the corner where he would jump up and down, and jump up and down, and run like he was in a mosh pit, and then just run and hit the guy with the forearm,” Road Dogg recalled, referring to an old move Rollins used to do. “And I thought, ‘Man, that’s so anti-climatic.’ It seemed like the build-up to it was bigger than the finish of it. So I went to him and told him that, and he said, ‘No, that’s what I do. I’m not changing it. That’s what I do.’ And I went to [Triple H] and I said, ‘Well, that kid, I’ll never talk to him again.”
